Dope This Week + Free Producer Giveaway!

Yooooooo, Whats up?
Its time for another Dope This Week + Free Producer Giveaway!

The Producer Duo
Rsonist and Thrilla make up The Heatmakerz, a New York-based production duo who has worked with The Diplomats, Lil Wayne, Ghostface Killah and more. One of the duo’s most notable production credits is on The Diplomats' 2003 hit “Dipset Anthem.”

The Revelation
During his tour stop in Anaheim, California, J. Cole revealed a unique connection between two of his popular songs . During his set, Cole showed that his "Neighbors” beat is “Forbidden Fruit” in reverse.

Pros and Cons
It's the age old question that has had producers and engineers debating for decades. What is the real difference between analog gear and digital plugins? In this video we offer a side-by-side comparison and explore the pros and cons to both sides of the coin.

DJ Khalil has produced tracks for Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, JAY-Z, Drake, Usher, and more. He’s also one half of the hip hop group, Self Scientific. We recently visited his studio in LA to see how he utilizes Serato Sample.

The Dropbox
The way we make music has changed — you don’t need to be in the studio 24/7. One of the biggest benefits of being on the road is that you’re constantly in new environments with new stimuli. By making Kolony while on tour, I was able to make music that I would never have created in the studio.

As always please let me know your request and suggestions on Instagram @triza.  Which topic above is your favorite. What do you want to see more or less of?  Let me know.

Till Next Week

P.S. Don't miss out on our Free Producer Giveaway for your chance to win a Akai MPK Mini.
